What is the recommended weight limit for dogs to use this product?

This product is intended for medium dogs weighing up to approximately 66lb (30kg).

How far should I drive this Dog Tie Out Stake into the ground?

On firmly packed ground, use a hammer or similar tool to drive the main body vertically into the ground to a depth of approximately 3cm below the rotating part.

*After driving it in, please ensure that the main body is securely fixed.

Does this stainless steel Dog Tie Out Stake rust?

The soil contains a lot of chlorine, so even stainless steel will rust if it comes into contact with soil for a long time.

Please wash off mud and dirt with water beforehand and try to dry it as much as possible.

Does it have sufficient strength to tether large dogs?

Instructions:

Use a hammer to strike and drive it in.Connect a chain or rope to the round hole at the tip (ensure the angle between the guideline and peg is perpendicular (90 degrees)).When removing, detach the chain or rope and use the hook at the back of the hammer to pull it out.If you have a peg hammer, you can use the hook at the back to lever it out.Attach another peg to the hook of the peg already driven into the ground and pull or lightly twist it out.

This Dog Tie Out Stake is manufactured using martensitic stainless steel, a material chosen for its high carbon content, excellent hardness, and outstanding resistance to bending. These properties make it ideal for ground stakes that must withstand strong pulling force from active pets.

Compared with austenitic stainless steels (such as 304 / 316), martensitic stainless steel has slightly lower corrosion resistance. As a result, light surface oxidation may appear after exposure to rain or moisture. This is normal for this type of high-strength stainless steel and does not affect durability or performance.

Any minor surface oxidation can be removed by:

Light polishing or wiping, which will allow a new protective passive layer to formApplying a stainless-steel rust-remover spray, which helps reduce future spotting

Stainless steels that “rarely rust,” such as 304 or 316, contain more chromium (and often nickel), but they are also much softer. This makes them unsuitable for ground stakes, as they may bend under strong pulling forces.
