How did you come up with the idea for this product?
We came up with idea when we had our second child almost 12 years ago. Our first born was walking and was wanting to do more of that on his own. At the time there wasn’t a solution that met our needs so we created one. We experimented with different ways to connect a handle to a stroller but ultimately settle on a simple, one piece, patentable design, that we could make in the USA. We tested our solution with friends around the country and knew we had something when people started asking us “where we got it”.
What makes your product special?
That it actually works for many people. There is review after review from parents with similar experiences to ours when we first felt the need and created the product. Giving the little one a spot. Supporting independence, Helping Out. Versatile. You can also see where many customers bought it thinking it won’t work for my child- but they come back to say it did. People are also finding new ways to use it which makes us proud to be able to help parents have fun, travel, and share fantastic experiences with their kids (or just make that walk easier around the block, to the bus stop, or into the store).
What has been the best part of your experience?
When we read the reviews and see that 12 years later that the product still works for people. Starting our own company around a product we invented and make so close to home is pretty cool too.
