When designer Anna adopted “Cotton Candy” – a bichon that is particularly afraid of heat – she found that all the dog houses on the market were not perfect. Either it’s too short and oppressive, or insufficient sun protection makes white hair prone to yellowing.
Since I can’t buy it, I’ll design one myself! So Anna raised the regular dog house by 6 inches, and “Cotton Candy” could finally move freely inside the dog cage. However, the scorching summer sun still turned the dog tent into a steamer, and the beloved dog always stuck out its tongue to find a shady place.
So she added a double-layer sunscreen fabric – the outer layer of UV resistant Oxford cloth blocks 90% of sunlight, while also providing waterproofing on rainy days. The breathable mesh on the roof forms an air insulation layer. On the day of the test, “Cotton Candy” took the initiative to sneak into the outdoor dog house for a nap at noon for the first time.
Anna has designed the bottom of the dog shade to be raised and equipped it with a dog bed that covers the bottom. It is not only ventilated and moisture-proof, but also easy to clean when switching between indoor and outdoor use, without dirtying the hygiene of the home. Even on rainy days, the dog will not get damp outdoors, making it an essential dog cabana for home travel.
Now this dog tent has become Cotton Candy’s favorite watchtower. Now it always likes to squat at the entrance of the doghouse, like a diligent little guard patrolling the garden. Neighbors jokingly referred to it as a ‘sunny villa with an observation deck’.
